What is the White Card?
To carry out construction work in Victoria, you must complete general construction induction training — commonly called a White Card. It must be finished before you start on site, and may need refreshing if you return after an extended absence.

Unit CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
Face-to-face only in VIC
Victorian White Card training cannot be completed online — you complete it in person for a single day.
Pathway to your card
Successful completion issues a Statement of Attainment and a pathway to the WorkSafe Victoria construction induction card.
